A man was struck and killed while walking in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Artesia, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday east of Gridley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man died at the scene.
The driver, 38-year-old Sarah Beth Melot of Corona, pulled over and remained at the scene until CHP arrived.
