UPDATE: Law enforcement officials said that the line that is down is not from a power source, but is a telecommunications line.

This is BREAKING NEWS!
A power line is down across the southbound 5 Freeway at Alondra Boulevard in the city of Norwalk on Thursday prompting a closure of interstate that is currently undergoing a massive expansion project.
It is not know how long the freeway will be closed, and traffic is being diverted off at Rosecrans Avenue.
