Homicide Detectives have learned that the sound of several gunshots were heard in the area of shooting early Thursday morning. When deputies arrived, they discovered the victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives have converged on the 11500 block of Angell Street in Norwalk to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
The location is near Vista Verde Park, south of Imperial Highway and west of Pioneer Boulevard.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead. There is no further information available at this time.
Hews Media Group-Community News has been told by law enforcement officials with the LASD that the shooting took place at around 12:57 a.m. Thursday morning.
There are no details about the suspect.
