Lieutenant Francisco of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that deputies responded to a vehicle fire call, where the fire was extinguished and a human body was found inside the vehicle.

The identity, age, and gender of the body will be determined by the Coroner’s office at a later time.  More updates to follow.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are responding to the 30100 block of Miraleste Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the suspicious death of a person.

The area is one of the most exclusive housing enclaves in all of Los Angeles County.
